Orientações sobre ultrassom

A ultrassonografia é um exame complementar e, na maioria dos casos, não deve determinar a conduta de forma isolada. Achados ultrassonográficos, quando avaliados sozinhos, têm baixa precisão para indicar necessidade de intervenção cirúrgica. Da mesma forma, a espessura endometrial isoladamente não deve ser utilizada para indicar esvaziamento uterino, pois não existe um valor de corte confiável que defina essa necessidade.

Técnica cirúrgica (quando indicada)
Preferir aspiração a vácuo. Evitar curetagem cortante como primeira escolha (menor dor, sangramento e tempo de procedimento). [Tunçalp O et al., Cochrane 2010; Huchon C et al., JAMA 2023]
