oval, complex cystic and solid image, presenting vascularized septa. The lesion measured 5.0 x 2.2 x 2.0 cm and was suggestive but not pathognomonic of an abscess. According to the 5th edition of ACR - BI-RADS this lesion should be classified as suspicious (BI-RADS category 4). Biopsied is required in case of treatment failure. In our case the patient responded to antibiotic therapy and surgical drainage of the abscess. The biopsy was not required.
