Thrombophlebitis

High resolution ultrasonography showed  an echogenic content  on a superficial vein. Collor Doppler showed no blood flow signs. Note thickening and hypervascularity of the vein wall. The hyperechogenicity and the blurring of adjacent soft tissue are suggestive of edema.
